Rugby Club Annual Alumni Match Waiver

1. I am in good health and physically able to participate in activities at the Recreation Center, including the use of the facilities and equipment, and/or in any club and/or intramural sport (collectively referred to as the “activity”).

2. I agree that I am participating in this activity voluntarily and at my own risk.

3. In return for being permitted to participate in the activity, I release Seton Hall University, its employees, agents, and representatives (hereinafter the “University”) from any liability to me for any injuries to me, any damages to my property or any claim by me whatsoever arising out of my participation in the activity, whether caused by the University or otherwise, including anything that may happen during any travel to or from any club or intramural sport activity, irrespective of whether the transportation is supplied by the University or not. I waive and release any and all rights to such claims and damages against the University.

4. I agree that I will defend, indemnify and hold harmless the University from any liability for any injury, damage, loss or liability whatsoever caused by my negligence, gross negligence or any intentional act or omission by me in connection with the activity.

5. I agree that I will abide by all University rules and regulations regarding the activity in which I am participating as well as all other University policies and procedures.

6. I have sufficient health, accident and general liability insurance to cover all claims arising from any injury or damage to property I may experience arising from my participation in any activity. I assume responsibility for all such claims and will not seek to hold the University or any of its employees or agents responsible for any payment of any costs or expenses.

I have carefully read this document and understand it to release Seton Hall University from any claims and liability resulting from my participation in any activities at the Recreation Center or in any club and/or intramural sport and to waive all claims for damages or losses against the University. I further understand that I am obligated to indemnify the University for any liability for injury or death of any person or damage to property caused by my negligent or intentional acts or omissions.
